Have you purchased your Disneyland Paris tickets yet? Here are some pointers on how and where to
get them at the best price.
The fastest and most convenient way to get to Disneyland Paris from the airport terminal 2 itself is the TGV train. It takes only 10 minutes to get to the theme park with no intermediate stops. You have to get off at the stop Marne la Vallée-Chessy, the same as the RER. The price varies, but you can find tickets in 2nd class from about 20€. It seems expensive for the short time the trip lasts, but it is the best option compared to the others.
If you prefer to go straight, you may use the Disney Magic Shuttle bus. The trip takes 45 minutes and delivers you directly to the Disney hotels near the park. It makes regular stops at Terminals 1 and 2 at Charles de Gaulle Airport. The only disadvantage is the price: 23€ for adult and 10€ every 11-year-old youngster. You may also take it if you arrive at Orly or Beauvais airports.
As a final alternative for getting from Charles de Gaulle to Disneyland, we recommend using a cab. If you're traveling with a family, this is the most cost-effective and sensible alternative. Because there is no set pricing for getting from the airport to Disneyland, we recommend scheduling a private shuttle to minimize price surprises. So you will pay a set fee, and the driver will meet you at the terminal and transport you to the park's or your hotel's entrance.
You can take the RER from the airport to Disneyland Paris; you only need to change trains. In the same airport, there is an RER line B station that runs every 10 minutes or so. The ticket to the center of Paris costs 10€ and takes 40 minutes to reach the Châtelet Les Halles station.
There, you must exit and transfer to RER (red) line A, which will take you to Marne la Vallée-Chessy, only a few meters from the Disneyland Paris gate. Adult tickets are €7.60 and children's tickets are €3.80. The two journeys take around an hour and a half and cost about €17. As you can see, the TGV travels substantially faster for the same price.
